Responsibilities vary by location and may include:

  • Greet every customer and begin the write-up process
  • Write up and manage all repair orders and purchase orders
  • Answer phones and set appointments
  • Advise customers on maintenance and repairs recommended
  • Liaison between customers and technicians
  • Keep in constant contact with customers
  • Open and close purchase orders and sublet billing
  • Work closely with the parts department
  • Collect payment and close repair orders


  • Good understanding of the automotive industry
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Team Player
  • Excellent phone skills
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Computer proficient and willingness to embrace new technology
  • Ability to multitask without compromising customer care
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
